At its most basic, the Applied Management programme starts with a two-year Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE). Students then progress onto the Diploma of Higher Education in years 3 and 4 and the BA (Hons) degree in years 5 and 6. Read on to see how all this can be achieved in just 4 years!.
Although 'on paper' this training can take up to four years to complete (six years if the BA (Hons) stage is included), there are available exemptions based on students' prior management experience. Indeed all of our current students on this programme intake were exempted from the first two years of study. This means there is the very real possibility of achieving a diploma and embarking on a degree within just two years.
The programme fee for 2007 is £1200 per year - but remember you can reduce this figure to as little as £240 per year through the ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits) scheme. The scheme can subsidise your fees by up to a substantial 80% - for more information please visit www.EnhancedLearningCredits.com

*** There is the opportunity within this project to specialise in HRM or Logistics
On successful completion of the Diploma, students can progress to the BA (Hons) in Applied Management in years 5 and 6 (or year 3 if exempted from the Cert HE). Once again, flexibility is key and there is the opportunity to build on the specialism selected in the work based project in year 4 and follow a choice of different pathways - General Management, Human Resource Management or Logistics.
